National public speaker and Federal civilian benefits specialist Lloyd D. Watnik is among the nation’s foremost authorities on Social Security, Medicare, and Government retirement benefits.
Before retiring in 1994, Mr. Watnik was employed by the Social Security Administration for 27 years (24 years as a Manager). He has been involved in Social Security & Federal Government Benefits for over 43 years.
Mr. Watnik has been training Federal employees and lecturing in the private sector since 1972. He is considered one of the foremost authorities on Social Security and Medicare. He is also an expert on Public Law 93-638 (The Indian Sovereignty Act) and can explain the consequences of tribal preemption of Federal jobs.
Mr. Watnik is a retirement consultant, and speaks throughout the United States, its territories and outlying areas. His informative trainings and presentations are efficient, applicable and modern. He has been invited to speak to the employees and advise the clients of various corporations and government agencies, including people at the Secretary level and the highest ranking Congressional Staff.
Lloyd Watnik is certified as an expert witness in his field by the Superior Court of California. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in Political Science. He resides in San Diego, where he is writing his first book, Social Security: How It Works and Why It Doesn’t.
